I like the idea, and 30 seems ideal, with bad scans or drops/disconnects that
could ruin it, and the occasional scan that is over 4-5 credits for one..

or can these free credits also be used towards posting too?

curious to see how they looked and the non-blood related endings. Can anyone
assist on this? =/ I've been looking all day and can only find an image or two
here or there.
Hmmm for me, there are some goods and bads, and as most people have summed up,
I'll just cover what matters to me:
Goods:
1. Site is a hell of a lot faster, I give the MT people that (Sorry, I haven't
been around long enough to know who the big man or men are who run this place).
I was on cable and this site was sooooo slow. God forbid I never touched this
site with a 56k connection.
2. Cleaner, nicer interface... doesn't feel as cluttered, and I liked MT2 btw,
and that was a clean interface, so it didn't downgrade at all.
Now the Bads:
1. Okay, I'm a forum goer, and I find it EXTREMELY difficult to locate threads
that I didn't create but responded in. Is there a way we can track this? And
Sheqel (sp?), I don't have a 'Search Forum' button as you demonstrate.. where is
that? I see 'Search' but that's it.
2. On forums, I see a catergory for "General Anime and Manga", but I
can't seem to find a way to post a thread IN THERE, and I'm sort of confused on
that... I think the thread creation could be.. a lot more clearer. And god
forbid that dropdown list isn't user friendly! I use a mouse wheel and it keeps
going back to the top entry which is really annoying when I was making my Sister
Princess thread.
3. I miss the nice browse menu on the left-hand side back in MT2, now I got to
dig through several layers of clicking and buttons to even get close to
navigating, I find that annoying but that's just me.
4. This reply window.. is it just me or does it cut off the last 2 characters on
the right most side? Can that be fixed?
5. The Control Panel/Profile Page.. I don't like how it opens up (once you click
on them) in the center with these big non-descript buttons, took me forever to
figure out where to go for Avatars, and I had to dig through the forums and
EVENTUALLY someone made a passing reference to it, wasn't in the user guide! =(
Will there be improvements to that?
6. Credits... again, there are TONS of threads about this, so I won't cover
much, but my main things are: a) credits being updated PER click which is just
totally weird, I would figure me refreshing a page 25 times would be as much a
drain on MT as downloading pictures. B) Paying credits to submit... I'm not an
artist but I feel for some of them having to pay to submit.. which just seems
counter-productive to me =( C) Still more questions on it, like if I click a
picture to download but my power goes out, or something, then I lost my credits
with no refund? And some of them cost insanely high (saw one for more than 1.5
credits!) and I'm wary when they go into the decimal... by the way, if it says
0.0, is it TRULY ZERO credits or is it just not showing the .00
position?
So yeah, those are my general complaints and observations of MT. I love the
speed, that's a huge plus, and some of the former commenting restrictions SEEM
to be gone... I haven't experiemented enough to see if they are still in there,
but I didn't like the 'Wait 2 mins' before you can comment part. I haven't tried
quoting yet, and I am just also curious if we can get some sort of notification
of replies to threads? And when you click the "Advanced" button on
replying, can it be possible to have the message CARRIED over? I almost lost
this entire thing because of that but luckily copied and pasted before touching
that button. Anyway, my 2 cents on it! I hope MT gets better because I honestly
love the site, even if I am NOT an artist, as some of the scans/walls are really
superb, no place elsewhere on the net to find similar work. I really don't like
the people saying "Well if you don't like it, LEAVE." Well, MT is one
of a kind and I just hope the admins and top dogs hear us out, as I just hate to
see this site come apart or anything. Sorry for the long post =/

I got the expansion (super Sept deal where you got 10 bucks off it), so I got it
for 20 dollars and I LOVE IG, nice how they play out, but I hate how they break
some Warhammer Rules to make them.. different (5 heavy weapons in a Space Marine
squad now?). Anyway, I do play and if you have Winter Assault, I'd be up for a
game with anyone anytime!
Armies I play: Ultramarines, Cadian, with some supplementing Sisters of
Battle/Witchhunters. My largest/main force is the Cadians, I just need a few
more heavy weapons and my 2k point army will be complete.. though I ran of out
primer, so havent finished painting about 45% of my forces yet! ><
I know all about it, and I am dying for it myself. Chromehounds to /me/ is like
Halo was to Xbox, the game that I will MAKE me buy thesystem. I wouldn't mind
joining such a group on Xbox Live.. ^^
I myself loved Episode 2, I thought it was a huge improvement over Episode 1
(the games for both I am referring to), however, the TWO glaring thing I hate is
the loss of that neat two-player card game I used to play with my friends with
and the lost of the UNMS (sp?) directory that told you the history of everything
in the game =/ I hope Episode 3 turns out like two myself, I thought the combat
system and graphics were top notch, maybe more work on the mechs though. ^^

credits, trying to find it again and hope it didn't get deleted or anything. You

a bout of the flu or something that just isn't going away.. =/) and I was just
wondering.. were sections removed and/or delisted? I noticed, for example,
Chrono Crusade wasn't on the popular categories list anymore, yet it's in the
search engine. Is there a link that I am missing that will show me a complete
list of categories sides that nav window? Or do I just have to hope I enter
random things or categories I think MAY be in there to see if it even exists?
Anyone can answer this, would reassure me a lot that MT isn't axing a lot of the
nice artwork out there being posted on here.

from downloading MP3s), and while it was a huge lost, you just have to search
around and dig a little deeper for a similar site.
Bittorrents have been around way before Kazaa and Napster, but because of their
shutdown or crackdowns by those big entertainment industry types, BT usage
increased exponentially, and it is not going away any time soon. Cheer up
people, while it was a big lost, it wasn't critial (like Kazaa or Napster..
hitting the central server location which takes the whole network offline,
unlike torrents... thank god for peer-to-peer). Now me, I use BT and such to get
anime and maybe anime games and hard-to-find artwork and CGs. While I am
personally against pirating, I do not want to shell out 30 bucks for the 1st dvd
of an anime series I know nothing about (hence I download a few or the whole
series to see if its worth collecting, and if so, I'll get around to getting a
legal version just so I can have a hard copy with high-production values).
That's my spiel for tonight all! Merry Christmas btw ^_^

servers were more.. instantaneous... hehe. I know I'm not as active as others
who have been here longer, but I do whole-heartedly throw my support behind Sheq

against the "be lvl 25 to even view the galleries", would really hurt
MT, and this site is my favorite up there with Elfwood! ^_^

If you can cap it, and paying to raise or perhaps uncap it would be acceptable
(Fileshack does it, it still has free downloads, but are capped at a fixed speed

sending me food just so I can survive here, so I really can't afford to be

I highly admire and respect your presense and I meant no offense to that, that
was just my opinion. I just do not have an idea at the moment (doing homework
as it is now) so i can't offer a counter-proposal, but I would like more info on
where most of the BW is going. Is it scans? Wallpaper? What? I do agree it
must be addressed, and while I will remain active in the community, I don't want
to work till level 250+++ to be able to get scans and such, as I don't draw or
scan stuff (no scanner, and I'm writer.. curse my luck!) and it's hard enough as
it is to get up there while having a real life.

Well, I happened on this thread by accident myself, and decided to voice my
opinion, hehe. I am currently going thru galleries and posting and downloading
art myself, and marking favs that I like. That takes about 3-5 hours a day, and
it's tiring... Hmmm.... on the newer people I wouldn't mind restrictions
too much and see how that works, that sounds okay to me (since they are new and
you are trying to weed out the leechers/ppl who join for the art for a moment
and split). I was opposed to making it super high level to ever touch half the
art on here, as I am personally looking forward to seeing what some of these
scans look like, as the thumbnails for some are horribly small ><
And Ultimashower brings up a point.. is there a way to reduce what's being
displayed on the screen sometimes? Takes forever to load a page at any time...
and yeah maybe it's part of the BW issue, but loading all the pics also takes
forever... =/
My compliments to all those before, including you dear Celessa for your
understanding of the all sides involved and suggestions brought forth. I am not
opposed to some sort of action being taken, though my opinion can't fully be
qualified since I am relatively new myself, but I am tired of posting 5 hours a

Isn't that counter-intuitive though? Doesn't it also cost credits to post? So if you hit zero credits... your account is locked?

And Ultimashower brings up a point.. is there a way to reduce what's being displayed on the screen sometimes? Takes forever to load a page at any time... and yeah maybe it's part of the BW issue, but loading all the pics also takes forever... =/
My compliments to all those before, including you dear Celessa for your understanding of the all sides involved and suggestions brought forth. I am not opposed to some sort of action being taken, though my opinion can't fully be qualified since I am relatively new myself, but I am tired of posting 5 hours a day to get levels. I love posting, yes.. 5 hours straight is tiring! ^_^ Hehe.
EDIT - Oh yeah, to Celessa.. I wouldn't mind shelving a few bucks maybe if there are no restrictions... saves me countless hours as it is.... I was thinking more like being charged and still having to do everything I have to do now. ^^ Just a side note.. ^^
